International Climbing Camp (ICC)
"Avant-Tour" in the clearing of Moskvina:
Day 1: Arrival to Dushanbe. Accommodation, and site seeing of the capital city of Tajikistan.
Day 2: Driving to Jirgatol, accommodation in a tent camp or guests house near the airport.
Day 3: Flight by helicopter to the base camp of Polyana Moskvina, altitude - 4300m.
Day 4: Breakfast at 8:00. Acclimatization tour in the camp area on the Moskvina and Walter glaciers, getting acquainted with the area around. Lunch at 14:00. Dinner at 19:00.
Day 5: Breakfast at 8:00. Preparation for acclimatization climbing to the 4600 m site under the southern slopes of Vorobyov Peak - getting high-altitude food and necessary equipment supplies for overnight at 4600. Lunch at 14-00. Climbing to "4600." Overnight.
Day 6: Getting up. Breakfast. Hike along the southern slopes to the sites of "5000" - "5100". Overnight.
Day 7: Getting up. Breakfast. The intermediary camp is kept. Climbing up to the 5710 m pick and down to the site of "5000" -"5100". Overnight.
Day 8: Getting up. Breakfast. Climbing down to the "4600". Dinner. Climbing down to the base camp (BC). Having bath.
Gala dinner at 19:00. Congratulations on the event of accomplished climbing.
Day 9: Rest day. Breakfast at 8:00, lunch at 14:00, dinner at 19:00.
Day 10: Breakfast at 8:00. Preparation for further climbings. Reviewing of the climbing plans.
Recommendations: to do acclimatization climbing following the route of V. Tsetlin along the southern rib 5A k/sl of Peak E. Korzhenevskaya (7105 m). For volunteers - climbing the peak of Pierre D’Coubertin (5780 m) along the eastern ridge of route 2B category of complexity.
Day 11: Breakfast at 8:00. Climbing to the 5300 m site under the peak of E. Korzhenevskaya through the Moskvina glacier (alongside the previously marked route). Volunteers may get to the site under the peak of Pierre D’Coubertin through the Walther and Traube glaciers
(the route of crossing the glaciers is planed and marked). Overnight.
Day 12: Climbing to the peak of Pierre D’Coubertin, returning from the peak to the camp at the Traube glacier. Other groups get to the sites of 5800 m (Grot) of the E. Korzhenevskaya peak and overnight there.
Day 13: Everyone returns to the base camp. Lunch at 14:00. Dinner at 19:00.
Day 14: Day of preparation for climbing. Checking of equipments and getting food supply. Lunch at 14:00. Preparation continuation.
Dinner at 19:00. Consultations on upcoming climbing routes and transitions.
Day 15: Breakfast at 8:00. Getting to the "5300" to climb to the peak of E. Korzhenevskaya alongside the southern rib.
Day 16: For those who are at the camp, breakfast at 8:00. Lunch at 14:00.
Climbers of the peak of E. Korzhenevskaya start from "5300" and climb up to the "Grot" of 5800. Overnight.
Day 17: Climbers of the peak of E. Korzhenevskaya leave “5800” and climb up to the 6400 site. Overnight.
Day 18: Climbing to the peak of E. Korzhenevskaya starting from “6400", getting to the summit, and climbing down to the site 6400. Overnight.
Day 19: Starting from “6400” climbing down to the BC at Pollyana Moskvina. Bathing, meeting. Dinner at 19:00.
Awarding diplomas for accomplished climbings.
Day 20: Rest and preparation day for climbing to the I. Somoni peak. Breakfast at 8:00. Lunch at 14:00. Dinner at 19:00.
Day 21: Breakfast at 8:00. Lunch at 14:00. Getting to the site of "4600".
Day 22: Getting to the "5300" site of the peak of I. Somoni.
Day 23: Getting to the BPP at "6100".
Day 24: Climbing to «6995". Overnight. Volunteers get to the peak of Dushanbe (7007 m) and climb down to the BPP to the camp at "6100".
Day 25: Climbing from “6995” to the peak of I. Somoni (7495 m) and getting down to the camp under the peak of Dushanbe at “6995”.
Day 26: Climbing down to the site "5300". Overnight.
Day 27: Climbing down to the base camp of Polyana Moskvina. Bathing. Lunch. Dinner. Preparation for the returning flight to Jirgital.
Day 28: Breakfast at 7:00. Departure from Polyana Moskvina for Jirgitol by helicopter. Driving to Dushanbe.
Hotel accommodation. Farewell dinner.
Day 29: Seeing off.
